Building Silverest's digital marketplace
We're bringing the warmth of a strip mall and the trust of a community board online — for the vendors and customers of Silverest, Lusaka.
To make it just as easy to find your local restaurant, tailor, mechanic, or hardware store as it is to find a chain store — and to give vendors a free, simple platform to reach customers in their own neighbourhood.
Too many great local businesses in Silverest and across Lusaka are invisible online. Customers can't find them, vendors can't reach new customers, and the community loses out. We want to change that — by building a place that feels like the old Craigslist or Kijiji, but designed specifically for our community, in Zambia, with our local context in mind.
